KhurMarket is a full-scale local marketplace built from the ground up to transform how people buy and sell within the city of Khor. Instead of simply bringing products online, the project was designed to create a complete digital ecosystem for local commerce — connecting people, businesses, and opportunities in one unified platform. From its architecture to its user experience, every part of KhurMarket was developed with the goal of turning a real-world local need into a scalable, modern digital product.

This Project — A Booking System Built for Barbers Who Are Tired of Chaos The Problem Every Barber Knows Too Well If you cut hair for a living, you already know the routine. Your phone buzzes mid-haircut. Someone DMs you on Instagram asking for "tomorrow at 5?" while two other customers are waiting. You forget who booked what. A no-show leaves a chair empty for an hour. You double-book by accident because three people asked for the same slot and you said yes to all of them. This project was built to end that. What It Does A complete, mobile-first booking platform designed specifically around how barbershops actually run — not how a generic scheduling tool thinks they run. For Customers: - Book in under 30 seconds. Pick a day, pick a time, done. No account, no password, no friction. - Live availability. Every slot that's already taken is instantly visible and disabled. No more double-bookings, ever. - Automatic reminders. Customers get a heads-up before their appointment and a call shortly before it's their turn, so no-shows become the exception, not the rule. - Personal dashboard. Customers can see their booking history and cancel if plans change, without ever calling you. For the Barber: - A clean, focused admin panel. Today's schedule, tomorrow's, this week's. Filter by date, filter by status, done. - One-tap delay updates. Running 15 minutes late? Tap once. Every affected appointment shifts automatically, and customers are notified. Tap again for another 15, and it stacks seamlessly. - Block problematic customers. A single click blocks a no-show or difficult customer for a week. Their pending bookings are cancelled automatically. - Full audit trail. Every booking has a lifecycle: pending, done, or canceled. Old records auto-clean after a week so the panel stays fast and readable. Built to Feel Effortless The entire experience was designed with the same attention a good barber gives a fade — smooth, predictable, and satisfying. - Every action gives instant visual feedback: pulsing slots, smooth status transitions, subtle animations that make the interface feel alive rather than mechanical. - Numbers, times, and dates display in Persian, in the correct right-to-left layout, with the local calendar — because this isn't a Western tool awkwardly translated. - The whole thing runs in the background: automatic cleanup, auto-cancellation of missed appointments, scheduled reminders. It works while the barber is working. The Bottom Line This project is for the barber who's tired of being a receptionist. It takes the phone calls, the DMs, the "wait, when did I book him?", the no-shows, the double-bookings, and the late customers — and quietly handles all of it in the background.
